Comments :  I just wanted to say thanks again for treating Nibbler so well during his whole broken tooth ordeal a few weeks ago. I don't think I have ever gotten such personal and compassionate treatment from a veterinary office before. I think Nibbler knows what was done for him and is honestly a happier cat for it. Thank you Dr. Kari and Dr. Peter!

Comments :  I first went to Just For Cats in November 2007 because I was looking for a veterinarian with special compassion and understanding to help me with getting my overweight and very anxious kitty Sasha to lose weight in a healthy, safe way. At that time, Sasha weighed 6.45 kg (14.19 lbs). At her exam today at Just For Cats, Sasha weighed in at a healthy 4.08 kg (8.98 lbs)--(9 lbs is her ideal weight). THANK YOU, DR. KARI! I look forward to bringing my kitties to you for many years to come. I am truly grateful for the very special care you give them and their Mom.

Comments :  I can't say enough about the Doctors at JFCVH. I went there for a second opinion after my cat had a dental at another hospital and was still having problems. We ended up doing another dental, this time including charting and oral radiographs, which revealed multiple retained and abscessed roots. I had assumed radiographs were part of dentals everywhere. Once the affected teeth were removed, my boy has gone on like there was never anything wrong. Oh, at this hospital, the doctors do the surgery and at discharge they go over the radiographs and show you why a procedure was performed. I only wish things had been done correctly the first time. It teaches me to ask what is included from now on.

Comments :  I can't thank Dr. Kari, Dr. Pete and every single one of the other people at this veterinary clinic for the exceptional care they gave my older male cat. While other vets could not help him, these vets saved his life by knowing that he was so terribly sick because of infection from teeth problems. This rather aloof, fierce cat was friendly to all the folks there and no longer is terrified of vet visits. I also want to encourage anyone who has to consider a temporary feeding tube in one of their cats. Mine loved the tube! Food was magically reaching his stomach at the same time he could purr and get pets. It didn't stop him from snacking in between feedings either! He probably would have liked to have kept it in since it didn't bother him at all. He now has more energy than he has had in years, likes getting pets more often, and even cleans himself for the first time in his 14 years. I know he is the same cat only because he still trys to bully the other cat.

Comments :  Dr. Kari, Months ago we brought in a broken-down,tired, very senior cat named Munchy for you to treat as a new patient. WE NOW HAVE A PROBLEM. It seems like the old cat has disappeared. The old Munchy moped, limped, slept alot, was covered by a matted and dirty coat, didn't eat much and never spoke. This new cat--that you apparently substituted for Munchy-- has a great deal of energy, has a beautiful and clean fur coat, talks all the time. listens to and sings along to music, plays like a kitten, eats all his food. and demands that we give him sufficient attention--including letting him in and out, in and out, in and out, etc. This cat takes alot of energy because he is so healthy. Is there some way that we can get the old cat back? (JUST KIDDING...THANK YOU for bringing Munchy back to life, almost literally.)

Comments :  I highly recommend Just For Cats to anyone who wants the most comprehensive and compassionate veterinary and behavior care for their cats. These wonderful doctors and staff were able to put my most anxious cat at ease so she no longer loses her bowels when visiting the vet, and I'm no longer apprehensive about taking her in, where I had been putting off even routine exams. I'm confident that my other two middle-aged cats are receiving the best possible care as well. And even though I've lived with these cats for more than six years, I've learned a lot and have become even more interested in their health and well-being since going to Just For Cats. If you're hesitating about taking your cats there, call them and ask to visit and talk with Dr. Kari about your cats. I'm sure glad I did!

Comments :  You won't find better veterinary care for your feline friends!! Dr. Kari and Dr. Pete are both great practitioners in their field. Very thorough, complete and knowledgable! Skilled in their profession and sincere in their work. I strive to seek out the best veterinary care possible for my girls, and I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of kitty-care! I don't believe you'll find anyone better in the Greater Sacramento Area! They truly take time to fully evaluate each cat's individual needs. Not to mention the high-state-of-the-art hospital!! Clean and modern--awesome facility! Even if I lived an hour away, I would still make the drive. They're worth it!
